In the continuing saga of the Crown That Will Not Fit, I went to the dentist today for what I believe is the fourth time in the past month and a half to get my crown put on my short, sad molar. And for the second time, much to both my and my dentist's chagrin, the blasted thing would not fit properly. Apparently for most people it takes five minutes to slap on but he's not satisfied with the fit for mine. I quite like my dentist, despite his propensity to ask inane questions while prodding at my teeth, and he seems fairly competent, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. Anyway, I had to take my third (THIRD!) impression today AND go back in two weeks. Additionally, this temporary thing he put on my tooth has rendered my bit completely useless and I haven't chewed properly in a month.
I am also currently fighting a losing battle with the ants that populate my desk and bathroom. I don't know where the hell they're coming from and I have searched my room high and low for sweets and other food particles. Ants don't really bother me generally but the feel of waking up with one crawling along your arm is less than pleasant. THEN I saw a small COCKROACH (!!!) in the bathroom and I do not do well with bugs and insects. Consequently, I can no longer go into the bathroom without flip flops and a flashlight at night. And now I pretty much feel phantom things crawling on me ALL THE TIME. Gahhhh.
