As I was walking into CVS today, a woman spotted my UCLA sweatshirt and the following exchange occured:
Woman: Oh UCLA! I was a UCLA bruin a long time ago.
Me: Really? Wow. Haha. (cue awkward laugh)
Woman: Yeah. Then I went to art school.
Me: Oh that's nice.
Woman: (shrugs shoulders, smiles brightly) That's why I'm unemployed I guess!
Me: ...oh.
